Reservation Terms and Conditions

By making a reservation at Hahei Holiday Resort, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and our Resort Rules.

1. Reservations are a contract between Hahei Beach Limited ('us', 'we', 'our', 'management') and the person, aged 18 years and over, named on the Reservation ('you', 'your', 'the reservation holder').

Reservations are not transferable to any other persons. This means that the person named on the reservation must occupy the site/room for the duration of the contract, and is ultimately responsible for occupants and visitors of that site/room. Hahei Beach Limited reserves the right to cancel any booking (without refund) whereby the person named on the reservation is no longer occupying the site/room.

 

2. Check In/Check Out

The reservation holder must register and pay any balance due on arrival, before we will allow any access to sites/rooms. If you do not check in with us when you arrive, your booking may be deemed a 'no show' and cancelled without refund, allowing your site to be re-let.

Check in time is from 2pm for all accommodation, and 12pm for camping.  Check out time is by 10am for all accommodation and camping.

Please do not ask for early check in or late check out during our very busy Peak Season.

If you will be arriving after 6.30pm, please let us know so we can arrange a late arrival for you.

 

3. Minimum Stays Peak Season & Public Holidays

Minimum nights stay from 25 Dec 2016 until 8 Jan 2017:

All Accommodation: 5 nights

All Camping: 7 nights

Other minimum stays apply from 9 Jan - 5 Feb 2017. See Booking Screen for details.

Minimum 3 night stay Auckland Anniversary Weekend (Jan 27-30 2017) Waitangi Weekend (Feb 3-6 2017) and Easter (April 14-17 2017)

 

4. Payment Policy

Online bookings, via our website, will be charged in full at time of booking.  See below for cancellation policies.

One payment per booking (No split accounts) to be paid in full on arrival if not pre-booked.

We will not refund, transfer, or change the amount due, if you choose to leave before or arrive after your confirmed reservation dates.

If for any reason, other than those provided for in sections 1, 5, 9 and 10 of these Terms and Conditions, we do not provide part or all of the accommodation you have reserved, then our liability to you is limited to a maximum of a refund of the amount you have paid us for your reservation reduced by an administration fee, any deduction pursuant to section 10, and by the price of any accommodation and services that have been provided or made available to you by us up to that date.

 

5. Cancellation and Amendment Policy

Outside of Peak Season & Public Holidays, we require at least 48 hours notice prior to your arrival date if you wish to cancel or change your reservation. See below for Peak Season and Easter policies.

Cancellations after 48 hours or a 'no show' will be charged for the first night stay. Any changes to confirmed bookings are at the discretion of management.

5a. Peak Season and Easter (all bookings between 25 Dec 2016 – 6 Feb 2017 & 14 - 17 April 2017)

We require written notice of all cancellations and changes to confirmed Peak Season and Easter bookings, so please be prepared to send us a quick email.

50% of your total balance for Peak Season / Easter Weekend is non-refundable and non-transferable.  Payment cannot be transferred as 'credit' to other bookings.

Easter bookings require written cancellation notice 48hr prior to arrival for a 50% refund of the total balance.

Confirmed Peak Season bookings cannot be moved to dates outside of Peak Season (all bookings between 26th Dec 2016 - 6th Feb 2017 / Easter 14th - 17th April 2017. Reservations cannot be changed to be shorter than the minimum stay.

Any changes of 'less' (nights/pax) to your Peak Season / Easter Weekend booking from November 1st 2016 will incur a $50 Administration Fee.

Please advise us before arrival if you want to change the number of people in your reservation. The maximum number of people allowed in accommodation is specified in the Room Descriptions, and there is a maximum of five (5) people per camping site. Any changes to confirmed payment due is at the discretion of management.

 

6. Child Policy

Child rates apply to children aged 3 – 15 inclusive. No charge for infants under 3 years old. Parents will be held responsible for their children at all times. Younger children must be supervised at all times and accompanied by an adult in the communal facilities.

7. Pet Policy

Sorry, you and your visitors cannot bring animals into the Resort at any time (except Service dogs).

8. Privacy Act

Unless you instruct us in writing to the contrary, the booking information provided by you may be passed on to a third party or disclosed to persons inquiring if you are a guest.

9. Behaviour

We are a family oriented Resort and expect reasonable, courteous behaviour from all our guests. Please respect other guests and allow everyone to enjoy their holiday. Management reserves the right to terminate a booking at any time without refund, if behaviour is unacceptable.

10. Cleaning/Damage

Management reserves the right to recover cost where extra cleaning is required. Dish washing is not included in your room rate and charges apply.

Please notify reception of any breakages or damage to resort property. Management reserve the right to recover all costs.
