Do you want to stay with us in the 'silly season'? From Christmas and through January we are chokka-block full with Kiwi families and the few lucky overseas visitors for whom we can find space during our Summer Peak Season.
We love that many families come back year after year, and we want to make sure that everyone who stays with us has a happy, fun, and safe holiday. This means that we operate a little differently for Peak Season than we do in the rest of the year. These questions also apply to the Easter weekend.
These FAQs should answer any questions you have about our Summer Peak Season and Easter. If you still have a query, feel free to give us a call on 07 8663889 or email firstname.lastname@example.org before sending through your request.

Many of our repeat guests hand in their request form for next year while they are on their summer holiday. If you have not done this then you will need to book and pay in full via our website. Simply choose your dates and fill in your details. Use the comments box for any extra information you think we may need to know.
We give priority to our many loyal guests who come back year after year. We process our requests according to the guests' history with us prior to opening up the on-line bookings.
We have a minimum nights stays for Peak Season and Easter. Other long weekends have a 2 night minimum stay. If you can only stay for less than the minimum requirement, send us an Enquiry or give us a call to see what we can do for you. We do give priority to bookings that meet our minimum stay requirements.
When booking you will be charged in full and 50% of your booking total is non-refundable for Peak Season and Easter. Please see our Reservation Terms and Conditions for more information.
You can check in from 2pm for accommodation and 12pm for camping. Please do not ask for an early check in during Peak Season.
Please check out by 10am at the latest. Because we are so busy during Peak season, we do not have space for you to keep your vehicle or belongings inside the Resort after your check out time. Please do not ask for a late check out.
Yes, simply write in the comments box on your request form what site or area or unit you want. It's also worth mentioning if you've been there before (although we do have everyone's site history on record), if you want to be next to other people booking, and if you are flexible with your dates. It all helps us place you in the best spot available for you.
Of course! We try our very hardest to accommodate everyone's requests so you can catch up with your rellies and friends for the holidays. We do require each separate site/unit to be booked separately so we can keep track of everything. When you request your site please write the names(in the comments box) of the other families that you want to be next to (and the sites they are requesting, if you know).
Please note that if we receive more than one booking in your name, it will be rejected.
We are a family oriented holiday resort, so if you're looking for a place to party we suggest you look elsewhere. However, if your group wants a relaxed and friendly vibe, and is happy to abide by our Resort rules, including noise and alcohol restrictions, we welcome you to our place. You can request sites together (mention who you want to be next to on your request form) and we'll see what we can do. Make sure you understand our terms of booking ie each site is to be booked individually and each guest is booked onto a specific site, with a maximum of 5 per site.
You are welcome to have visitors stay with you at different times, for a nightly fee, (within the limit of 5 people per site, or the maximum number allowed in your room). However the person who has booked the site/room (the 'reservation holder') has to be staying there for the whole period of the booking.
We just love that so many families come to see us every year, some going back several generations. We operate our priority system according to site/room history rather than your general visiting history, although of course we do take your family's loyalty into consideration. 'Site history' means how many years you have been on the same site/in the same unit, for the same dates .
You can have up to 5 people stay on a camping site, or, for accommodation, the maximum number shown in the Room Descriptions. Please give us a call or email if your family has more than this maximum number, and we'll help you consider options.
Your visitors are very welcome any time between 9am and 10pm. Please ask them to register at Reception (there is a small day visitor fee) before they go to visit you, so we can help them find you and keep track of who's on site. As we are so busy during Peak Season, they will need to park their car outside the Resort and walk in. You are responsible for all your visitors and making sure they abide by our Resort rules (including leaving the property by 10pm).
As long as you will not exceed the maximum number of people allowed on your site or in your room, you may have visitors stay overnight, just ask them to pop into Reception to register and pay the nightly fee.
New Year's Eve is a light-hearted, family event at our Resort, we sometimes have a kids disco in the evening and families celebrate together. We do not tolerate any excessive drinking or loud parties, and expect all guests to respect their neighbours who may be trying to sleep. Quiet time is 10.30pm although we do give some leeway until midnight on this evening only. Our Resort rules on behaviour, alcohol, and noise always apply.
Our camping sites are all approximately 8x8m, so can easily fit your tent or caravan, plus your car or trailer and a picnic table or gazebo, or whatever you want to bring. However all your belongings, including vehicles, must fit within the boundaries of your site (it's worth checking with us for exact dimensions if you plan to bring a lot). You cannot park cars or trailers on empty sites or green spaces nearby, or on the road edge outside your boundary.
You may park on your camping site whatever fits within the site boundaries. If you have extra trailers or boats etc that do not fit on your site, or in your allocated parking (for accommodation), we have some extra space available for a daily fee, on a first come first served basis.
Yes, our Security guard patrols at night during Summer Peak Season, and is on hand to take care of disturbances.
Can we run a generator?
Sorry, no. No exceptions.
