OUR COMMITMENT

We can’t wait to welcome you in Hahei for a well deserved holiday together with friends and family at the beach. The big wide open spaces in nature’s beachfront playground are just what we all need to restore, recharge and have some fun together again! The safety and wellbeing of our guests, visitors and our team remains a top priority.

  • We remain open at all NZ Government Covid-19 "Traffic Light Settings"
  • Please wear a mask when visiting reception, the shop and café
  • Please make sure that everyone in your group is well before you travel to Hahei Beach Resort. While we will do everything we can to ensure your stay with us is safe, we would kindly ask you to also follow NZ Ministry of Health Guidelines.
COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY

If made your booking directly with us, we will work with you to make any reservation adjustments necessary so please click here to email us as soon as you can.

If your booking cannot proceed due to NZ Government Covid-19 travel restrictions, we will be happy to make the following allowances:

Non-Peak Booking Period: You choose either a full refund or a full credit.

Peak Booking Period, 24 December - 8 February: You will receive a full credit to rebook at a later date, subject to availability.

  1. This policy forms part of the standard Terms & Conditions and is applicable right up to the arrival date
  2. If you change dates, the rates for the “new” period apply so there may be a deficit or a credit - we can advise of any differences in price before you make any changes
  3. Any credit is valid for 24 months from the date of issue and is subject to availability

EXPRESS ONLINE CHECK-IN

Express Online Check-in is open 7 days prior to arrival - please look out for your email and complete the guest registration for all guests in your group at least 24 hours before your arrival. If you have a booking and have not received your Express Check-in email, please get in touch info@haheiresort.com

Collect your Welcome Pack from the crew on arrival. For late check-ins 6-9pm your pack will be on the front reception deck with instructions

Wear a mask when visiting reception, the shop and café - masks are also encouraged in all areas with shared facilities

Use sanitiser and wash your hands frequently

Maintain social distancing from others not in your group especially in the shared facilities, mask wearing is encouraged

SAFETY MEASURES

In addition to the preacutions above, we have extra cleaning and safety protocols in place for everyone’s safety. We really do appreciate your patience as some things will take our team a little longer as we still aim to deliver the best holiday experience for you. 

We have also increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting our shared spaces. We kindly ask you to consider your fellow Resort guests and our team by wearing a mask, maintaining social distance, using the sanitisers provided.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE UNWELL

Have a plan before you come, check out the advice from the Ministry of Health.

 

If you have symptoms, isolate, inform and get tested immediately

 

Common symptoms of COVID-19 are like those found with illnesses such as a cold or flu. If you have these symptoms when you are on holiday, it is important that you get tested immediately. Do not wait until you get home to get tested.

If you become unwell or have been exposed to COVID-19 while you are away from home, you should:

  1. In an emergency, call 111 - our address is Hahei Beach Resort, 41 Harsant Ave, Hahei
  2. Call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice on immediate testing
  3. Isolate in your accommodation if you are symptomatic
  4. Call the Hahei Beach Resort General Manager 027 530 1790 or call the main reception on T: 07 866 3889 as soon as possible (please do not come to reception)

We will do all we can to support you and your group to get the medical guidance and support that you need to return home safely.
